Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady are possibly one of the most iconic offensive duos in the history of the NFL. Last night, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ‘Quarterback-Tight end’ duo completed their 100th touchdown together. They are just 14 short of becoming the top duo of all time.

The duo achieved this feat last night in Tampa Bay’s nail-biting victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Winning 31-29 to start their season off with a 1-0 record, the Buccaneers eked out a last-ditch victory against the Cowboys through Ryan Succop, who scored the winner from a 62 yard Tom Brady pass.

Speaking to the media post-match, Gronkowski shared his feelings on his 100th career touchdown from Buccs QB Tom Brady.

“It’s cool,” Gronkowski said. “I didn’t even really know about it in the moment…I just listen to Coach [Tom] Moore. He said, ‘I’ll keep counting for you Rob, and you just keep catching.’ I said, ‘I like that one. I’ll just keep catching.’ That’s what I’ll do.”

“For someone who’s watching him for a long time, he had it, it faded away. He ended up retiring because he didn’t find the joy that he had. To see him regain it is one of the really great, satisfying things for me in pro sports. I wish the best for him every single day and every single time he performs because the kind of guy he is. If you’re going into battle, you want to go in with Rob Gronkowski on your side.”
