‘I’m Coming Back’ – Rob Gronkowski Shuts Down Retirement Rumors, Announces Return

Rob Gronkowski had an incredible season last year. After retiring in 2019, Gronkowski made his return after one season, this time reuniting with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. The duo shared a lot of success during Gronkowski’s first stint playing with the New England Patriots. Their second stint saw them win a fourth Super Bowl together. And it looks like the two will play together again.
Rob Gronkowski spoke to TMZ Sports recently. When asked about his future, Gronkowski shared the good news – he will return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next season. Gronk spoke about how much fun he had last season. Being able to win a Super Bowl in his first season back from retirement was special. And Gronkowski also noted that he had begun training by himself again.

“I’m coming back to play football man. I had a great year last year, won the championship. I’m hoping that we’ll have to make a fifth card, and a special edition card because we’re going to add the fifth championship. I will be playing football man…Let me tell you, I was a little bit sore first day of training but it bounced back like that…I’m feeling good.”

Gronkowski had an excellent season with the Buccaneers. Despite having not played for nearly two years, Gronk looked like his old self. his connection with Tom Brady proved itself to be one of the greatest ever. The duo was crucial to the Buccaneers’ success last season and helped them secure a playoff position during the tail end of the regular season.
In the playoffs, Gronk showed why he is considered why he is one of the best playoff performers in NFL history. In the playoff games for the Buccaneers, Gronkowski stepped up big time. Against opposition such as Washington, the Saints, and the Green Bay Packers, Gronkowski was a crucial part of the Buccaneers as they paved their road to Super Bowl LV in their own home.
