Travis Kelce is on cloud nine. The Kansas City Chiefs recently brought home their second Super Bowl title and their victory high won’t be dissipating any time soon. Meanwhile, the spotlight on Kelce has continually grown. As the TE’s podcast ‘New Heights’ with his brother Jason continues to skyrocket, his popularity has increased by leaps and bounds. With that came the added interest in his personal life.

Travis Kelce has cultivated a certain popularity on the romantic front because of his eclectic sense of style and overall appeal. However, the TE was in a long-term relationship with model Kayla Nicole. Kelce had his eyes set on Nicole long before she took the first step to initiate the conversation. Here’s a look at the details of their first interaction.

Featured on Kamie Crawford’s podcast ‘Relationsh*t, the model divulged the events that led up to her making the first move. She said, “We met on Instagram and I DM’d him. I DM’d him first. I made the slide. But that was after he followed me for a couple of months. He did the whole like ‘I’m going to creep on you from the bushes and I’m going to like your pictures, I’m going to watch your stories.’ And after a while, I was like ‘Okay I see you. You’ve made it very evident that you’re following me and that you’re present.’”

Stalking, in literal terms, is not the same as what this generation refers to as ‘social media stalking.’ Checking on someone’s social media is something a majority of folks may be guilty of doing, and the TE is not exempt from it as well.
