Tom Brady recently signed a record-breaking deal with FOX Sports. He signed a deal worth $375 million for 10-years to be a Senior NFL Analyst on Fox following his retirement. This is the biggest deal anyone has got in the sports broadcasting landscape. As a result, he has been the talk of the town lately.

Former Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu recently appeared on the Rich Eisen Show. He was asked about his views on Brady’s lucrative deal with Fox Sports. Tyrann claimed that he congratulated Tom Brady after he had signed the massive deal and further spoke about how he sees Brady as a role model.

Tyrann said, “I just talked to Brady like three days ago you know, just congratulating him and you know everything and you know. He’s such a good dude, so uh I’m looking forward to it absolutely.”

Tyrann Mathieu claims he and Tom Brady talk to each other quite often

Tyrann further talked about how he looks up to Tom Brady in every aspect of his life. He claimed that Brady reaches out to him quite often, and is available to offer guidance whenever required.

He said, “He always reaches out to me you know, and uh you know I try my best to you know always reach out to him you know, I think you know football aside, you know this is one of the this is a good dude you know and you that this is a guy that has a lot to offer you know what I mean as far as just teaching you know about life off the field, whether it be business, whether it be taking care of your body….”

Tyrann added, “I’m more so impressed that guys like him taking time to kind of entertain little guys like me  you know because you know God knows he doesn’t have to you know entertain anybody you know, but for him to kind of take his time you know out of his day you know to just always reach out, you know always sending congratulations or always be you know somebody of great support uh I think that says a lot about his character.”

Tom Brady and Tyrann Mathieu will be division rivals in the upcoming season. Tyrann returned to his hometown in Louisiana and will play for the New Orleans Saints, while Brady will continue to represent the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
