Tom Brady retired for the second time from Pro Football last week at the age of 45. He said goodbye to the game last year too, only to come back sometime later to play another year in the NFL. But there is no indication that the legendary QB will do the same again. His words remain the bravest six days after the announcement.

When Brady came back last year, most fans thought he would end his career after winning an eighth Super Bowl ring. But he proved that he wasn’t chasing rings out on the field but played this long for the love of the game.

Future Hall of Famer Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL in a short video on Twitter. And he stressed subtly through his words that he will not return to the field this time.

“I’m retiring for good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” Brady said in the video.

These are the bravest and probably the most difficult words that the seven-time Super Bowl champion has ever uttered. He loves the game to the core and played at the highest level for 23 seasons. Tom Brady’s first return from retirement was the most difficult period of his life. His wife and supermodel Gisele Bündchen parted ways with him over the decision. So, he lost his family due to his love for football. And he faced many challenges on the field during the season.

The QB’s form saw an unprecedented dip at the start of the season. And as a result, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went on a losing run. But the team would have struggled with Brady as their run game failed to yield any results. The result is more pressure to pass on Brady and easy work for the opposing defenses.
