After about five or six hours of introspection, he found a sense of comfort and acceptance in the reality of retirement.

Rodgers had previously believed that he would be fine in retirement because he had planned such as his foundation, philanthropic work, business ventures, travel, and other personal dreams. He realized that during his time of reflection, deep-seated insecurities and fears surfaced that he hadn’t acknowledged before.
