NFL Insider Offers Update on Kansas City Chiefs HC Andy Reid’s Medical Condition

AFC West franchise Kansas City Chiefs suffered their second defeat of the season on the weekend. The Patrick Mahomes-led franchise succumbed to a narrow 30-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. However, a major talking point of the game was the incident surrounding home team head coach, Andy Reid.
As per the latest reports, coach Reid departed left Arrowhead Stadium, and was transported to a local hospital system after feeling ill following Sunday’s loss to Justin Herbert and Co. Further updates indicated that the 63-year old veteran was feeling ‘dehydrated’ and was taken to the University of Kansas Health System for further evaluation.

NFL Network reporter and league insider, Ian Rapoport, gave the latest update regarding coach Reid’s medical condition. The latter is reportedly stable and under the observation of health professionals as a precaution.
Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu took to Twitter after the game with a tweet regarding Reid’s unfortunate exclusion from Sunday’s game.“I’m praying for my Head Coach & I’m hoping you can send up prayers with me!! One of the best men & teachers I’ve been around!!! GOD please show us your mercy!” the tweet read.
