The Kansas City Chiefs recently won Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles. In a historic showdown between the two teams, the Chiefs made a comeback in one of the most memorable Super Bowl games to date in the NFL. This is also the second Super Bowl championship for Chiefs’ star QB Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes is on his way to creating a legacy for himself after NFL GOAT Tom Brady. Some consider Patrick Mahomes to be the next GOAT in line to dethrone Brady from the status. Amongst the fandom for the Chiefs Kingdom and Mahomes, boxing star Ryan Garcia seems to be a part of the fandom as well.

The 24-year-old pro boxer is considered one of the best athletes in the field of boxing at the moment. After holding the WBC interim lightweight title in 2021, Garcia recently fought Gervonta Davis. In a thrilling match, Davis knocked out Garcia in the seventh round. But that’s not what we are covering today. Recently, Garcia was spotted wearing a Mahomes Jersey on the podcast called The Shop.

This led to many believing that Ryan Garcia is a Mahomes and Chiefs fan. Wearing the famous red no.15 jersey, Garcia looked in his element as he joined the likes of Stefon Diggs, Maverick Carter, and Paul Rivera for a new season of The Shop on YouTube.

Ryan Garcia is no stranger to the NFL and vice versa. His recent knockout brought in a widespread reaction from the likes of NFL players such as Tyreek Hill, Lamar Jackson, and others. So it may be no surprise that he might have his own favorite when it comes to football.

Mahomes building a fan following for himself

Patrick Mahomes is undoubtedly one of the best quarterbacks to be playing in the league at the moment. Being drafted by the Chiefs in 2017, he has gone on to solidify his name as one of the greatest players to play for the Chiefs kingdom. The 2X MVP QB has led the Chiefs to three Super Bowl finals, winning two rings with the team. 

While Mahomes will look to continue his winning streak with the Chiefs, it looks like Garcia will be showing his support to the Chiefs given they reach the Super Bowl in 2023 as well.
