It was not a shock at all when the Bills won against the Packers on Sunday. However, the manner in which Matt LaFleur and offensive coordinator, Adam Stenavich, decided to call the game for the Packers and Aaron Rodgers, came as a shock. The Bills currently sport a top 5 defense in the NFL. Since the beginning of the season, opponents have found it hard to penetrate the Bills with a running offense. But the Packers decided to dominantly rush the ball against them, which even caught star pass rusher, Von Miller, off guard.

The Bills added the furious pass rusher, Von Miller, to their defensive roster this season. And the player already has 6 sacks to show for his ability. Eager to get more QB pressures and sacks for his season, he was hoping to add to his tally this Sunday as well. But admittedly, the player was taken aback by how their rivals played. “I was taken aback a little bit. I’m like, hey, y’all got to pass the ball, don’t y’all?” Miller admitted.

The Bills are ranked 4th in the NFL for the fewest rushing yards allowed per game. Yet the Packers accumulated a total of 208 rushing yards against them. Following their brave choices, they caught the defense completely out of their element. While they attempted to pass the ball only 30 times, they had 31 carries for their rushers.

The first half was much more disappointing, going down by 7-24 to the Bisons. However, the Packers turned around the momentum in the second half. They only let Josh Allen and the company score one field goal, along with 10 unanswered points of their own. That was not enough in the end, as the final score stood at 17-27 in favour of the home team.
