Follow Us
Robert Anderson is completely against bringing in Baker Mayfield to Carolina Panthers. The Wide Receiver exclaimed strong feelings towards any such action. As reported by ESPN, his exact words were, “NOOOO”.
It looks like the former Sooner Quarterback does not have many suitable destinations. The only logical and viable option is Seattle, and that has been an option since the very beginning. So why that has not happened yet and how that might change in the future are both very important questions for the time being. But except there, nobody is really talking about any other place that suits him.

Robert Anderson is not interested at all that the Panthers front office should go out to get Baker Mayfield. Below an Instagram post that was speculating Carolina making a move for Mayfield, he commented in capital letters, “NOOOOO.” It could be because of his attitude issues or the amount of attention he brings being a former Heisman winner and the number one overall pick. And the connection between the WR and the QB is very important for any team to become successful. Robert Anderson saying so closes all doors to Carolina for Baker Mayfield.
Will Baker Mayfield Start An NFL Game Next Season?
It might happen that Baker takes up a role as a backup Quarterback somewhere in the league. That is a possibility but will the former overall number 1 pick settle for the backup QBs role? And Baker Mayfield has been very vocal about his leadership abilities. How will that translate into the back up position even if he chooses to take it up.

And how different would be the money, who would take his contract for the backup role? One answer could be teams with a very young QB like Jacksonville or the Bengals, but why would you want to disturb the QB room energy by bringing someone who is gunning for the starting role the whole season?
It is Colin Kaepernick Vs Mayfield For Seattle
Nobody really knows what is going on with Seattle. They could just ride with their current QB room and tank the season and take up a good prospect in next year’s draft. But if the analyst market is to be believed, the two top names for the Seattle seat are Baker Mayfield and Colin Kaepernick.

Where will Seattle go? It is a question that keeps many QBs awake, especially these two.
