Aaron Rodgers is yet to take center stage for the New York Jets in the NFL. But his presence in New York has already left younger roster members in a state of awe. Rodgers spent the entirety of last week getting to know his new teammates both on and off the field. Since his arrival, the 4X NFL MVP QB has been throwing a few passes during practices, in an effort to build a chemistry with his teammates. He recently even attended the New York Knicks game with his teammates, including CB Sauce Gardner. But watching the NBA matchup was not the only interesting event that day, as he and Gardner shared a moment with Hollywood actress Jessica Alba that has gone viral.

In what seems to be a cause of the generational divide, the young Eagles CB was not as shocked as Aaron Rodgers to know that they were sitting next to the Hollywood actress. And Alba has come forward to recall the particularly interesting meeting with the two.

During a recent episode of the Rich Eisen show, the Hollywood actress recalled the events of meeting the NFL stars during an NBA game between the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat. She stated that she had never met A-Rod before, as the QB and Gardner sat down beside them. What caught her attention more was the giant ‘Sauce’ diamond necklace that the CB was wearing.

She said, “When you see someone wearing a giant diamond, sometimes it’s a little bit intimidating. But he was actually very sweet. An Aaron Rodgers was like pointing to everyone in the room, like ‘You know who that is?’ And I think it was a joke because the kid didn’t know anybody.”

The interaction went viral on social media, as Jessica Alba started trending on Twitter. She even had a back-and-forth sweet exchange with Sauce on Twitter after getting introduced to each other during the NBA game.

Gardner will now forever remember who Jessica Alba is

A recent tweet by NFL showcased Sauce Gardner’s reaction to the whole even during a Jets press conference. The 22-year-old stated that Rodgers looked at him like a ‘crazy’ person when he said he failed to recognize the Hollywood actress. Alba replied to the tweet, stating that it was nice to meet the pair and that he was a gentleman during their interaction.

Gardner responded to the tweet stating that even he had a good time, calling the 4X MVP Rodgers his ‘chaperone’ in a light-hearted wholesome exchange on social media. Even the QB decide to join in on the conversation, stating that he was happy to help Gardner meet new people in life.

While it seems like Aaron Rodgers is already building good chemistry with his teammates off the field, fans will be waiting in anticipation to see this chemistry bloom into power-packed plays in the league as well.
