“It’s a Personal Thing”: Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen’s Ongoing Rift Could Be the End of Buffalo’s Dreams, Former QB Opines

In the midst of surged aggression, on-field tiffs are intelligible. One of the tiffs between Buffalo Bill’s wide receiver Stefon Diggs and star quarterback Josh Allen has raised concerns in the camp. The on-field bromance between Allen and Diggs which was a prominent feature for the Bills, is now a realm of the past.  

However, sprinkling gas on top of the fire, Stefon Diggs was absent from the pre-season camp, resulting in a surge in tension among the fans and Bill’s coach Sean McDermott. The heated situation was not alien to NFL analysts and former players. Moreover, a former quarterback has shredded some light on the recent matter. 

Why Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs are having a hard time

The former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, winner of a Heisman Trophy was seen in a recent interview with The Rich Eisen Show, sharing an insider view of the matter. He stated the importance of happy Diggs in the camp, considering the Bills want to win the championship.

Griffin said: “I think the Bills need a happy Stefon Diggs to win the Super Bowl and if you notice I didn’t say motivated because I think he’s always motivated I think he’s always working his tail off to be the best but when you have a happy step on Diggs”.

The importance of Diggs in the Bills camp is apparent. However, Griffin goes on to state the reason behind the tiff. Griffin added: “Diggs and Josh Allen seem to have a bromance rolling uh it felt like for years there until there was the problem with the game against the Bengals in the playoffs so I think  it’s clear this is a personal thing  between Josh and Diggs”

Last season’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals was the scene of a blowout between Diggs and Allen. The Bengals dominated the four quarters against the Bills, and Diggs felt the team has not lived up to their caliber. Resulting in him being caught on camera pouring out his frustration on his teammates, where Josh Allen being the primary target. Now, This has raised concerns in Bill’s camp for the upcoming season. 

Buffalo Bills being the victim 

Bills are the victims of this tiff. However, it seems there’s no end to it. The tension has radiated to Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott, wherein he seemed to be concerned about the team’s star wide receiver. Needless to say, to grab the championship, Josh Allen has to take charge and settle things down between him and Diggs. However, there is always room for reignited bromance.

We are approaching a fresh NFL season, and the Bills will have to put an end to this rift. We can only hope to see Allen and Diggs back in action. Here, the burning question is how Bills are going to approach this hurdle.
