Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is now 36. He’s at a time in his career where he needs to decide if he’s ready to bow out on a high or fight to prove his superiority.

Tom Brady did the latter by jumping ship to Tampa Bay, where he is now joined by Rob Gronkowski.

Our guess? We strongly believe that Mr. Rodgers may be looking to do the same.

The Packers legend, if I may, is arguably one of the best natural talents that the NFL has ever seen. However, the arrival of Jordan Love at Lambeau Field has caused quite a stir.

There are reports that the Packers are now preparing for life after Rodgers. This could be his transition season. Unless he steps up and proves that his time at the top is not over just yet.

Aaron Rodgers will win the NFL MVP this year, says former teammate

Former Packers wide receiver James Jones appeared in a recent edition of NFL Total Access. The Super Bowl XXLV champion went on to rant about Aaron Rodgers and claimed that his former teammate will be crowned the MVP this year.

“I’m telling you, he is going to come out, he is going to prove to the world that he is still that guy. He is still that quarterback who is a special talent at the QB position.

“He’s going to come, and I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, he is going to win the MVP of the National Football League this season.

“Aaron Rodgers will dominate this season. I’ve seen this guy make everyone around him better. It’s going to be special season for 12 and I can’t wait,” Jones said.

NFL Madden ratings will spur Rodgers on, suggests Jones

Jones, who retired in 2016, also spoke about how an 89 rating in Madden 21 could be the catalyst for Rodgers’ brilliance in 2020.

“Hey, listen man, I’m trying to tell you right now – the chip that Aaron Rodgers already has on his shoulder from them drafting Jordan Love and everybody saying he’s not the old ‘Aaron Rodgers’ and he can’t do this or he can’t do that.

“Then the Madden ratings come out and they got him at an 89.

“When you’re in the 80s, and I’m not saying this, but in Madden when you’re in the 80s, it basically means you’re average. This is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game,” Jones added.
