One of the biggest matchups of the league will take place when the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals will go head-to-head on Sunday. It will also mark the day when the quarterbacks of both teams will try to prove one is better than the other. But for some people, it is the 27-year-old Patrick Mahomes who is a far better shot-caller than the 26-year-old Joe Burrow.

For the second time, the Chiefs and the Bengals will face each other to become the victor of the AFC Championship Game. Therefore, the debate raged between fans and analysts. Analysts favor Patrick Mahomes over his arch-rival

On the one hand, Mahomes already has an MVP and a Super Bowl win to his name, and he appears primed to add another after his performance this season. Burrow, on the other hand, is 3-0 versus Mahomes and the Chiefs in his NFL career, including an epic comeback last year that put the Bengals in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1989.

But what makes the lead QB of the Chiefs different from the lead QB of the Bengals is his statistics. As compared to Mahomes, Burrow has more losses. And in playoffs, the numbers are more in the favor of Mahomes.

“It’s ludicrous to say Joe Burrow is better than Patrick Mahomes, no matter what happens on Sunday because we can see the games…Joe Burrow has more losses than Patrick Mahomes already…Burrow’s the 2nd best QB, but this is not the Heavyweight Championship belt,” said Wright. “The most notable one is Burrow never scored 28 in the playoff game. Mahomes averages 32 in the playoffs.”

It will only be on Sunday that fans will see if Mahomes is better than the guy who owned him thrice.
