Lamar Jackson has only played three seasons in the NFL. Yet in that span, he has already become a household name. Winning the NFL MVP award in 2019, Jackson announced his arrival to the league in some fashion.
Accumulating over 3,000 passing yards and over 1,000 yards in rushing, Jackson is among the breed of dual-threat quarterbacks taking over the sport.

Yet still, Lamar Jackson has his fair share of doubters. Initially tagged as a choker for losing his first two career playoffs games, Jackson got rid of that demon by claiming his first postseason win in 2020.
But losing out in the Divisional Round meant that the Ravens have to wait at least another year for a shot at the Super Bowl. And Lamar Jackson is looking to make sure that he doesn’t leave any stone unturned in that pursuit.
Lamar Jackson going all-out this offseason
Speaking to ESPN, Jackson said that with minicamp underway, the offseason to him was officially over.
“It’s really not the offseason anymore,” Jackson said. “For us, I’ll say, we’ve just got to keep grinding and stay in shape.”

Learning from his past mistakes, Jackson said the entire Ravens side is going full-steam ahead in preparation for the upcoming season.
“We can’t go backwards right now, because we already had our fun and did whatever we did during the regular offseason. Not this time; it’s straight go-mode right now. The season is here.”
Following his MVP campaign, Jackson had a bit of a downer in 2020. Registering only 26 touchdowns for 9 interceptions, Jackson’s concerns with his passing accuracy once again cropped up.

But that again is something that Ravens and Jackson are looking to work on extensively this season. In recent interviews, the Ravens management has talked about how their offense will look to incorporate more passing plays in 2021.
If that indeed is the case, then teams will have to come up with new ways to stop the mercurial quarterback. Still lighting fast and evasive on his feet, Jackson has a bright future ahead of him.
