As the offseason continues, NFL players continue gearing up for the upcoming season ahead. And one of those players is a first-round 2023 draft pick by the Detroit Lions. This 22-year-old linebacker was named the 2022 Big Ten conference’s preseason defensive player of the year and also the Big Ten’s defensive player of the year when the season ended. Standing at 6fit5 and weighing around 245 pounds, this first-round Lions draftee will look to be holding the fort for the Lions on the field definitely. 

But it seems that despite his glorious college career, this LB was no match for his recently engaged girlfriend. And fans were left in awe after she managed to spear her NFL fiancée head-on during their vacation.

Jack Campbell gets tackled by his fiancée 

Jack Campbell arrived in Iowa as a three-star recruit. But in the four years that followed, he went on to build himself as a reliable defensive player for his college team. And this is exactly why the Lions did not miss the opportunity of drafting the linebacker as their 18th overall pick in the 2023 draft. But that is not why Campbell is recently going viral.

In a Twitter clip that is going viral, we see the 22-year-old on a surfing adventure with his fiancée, Megan Meyer. Jack Campbell seems to be finding his balance on the surfboard. And when he finally manages to do so and poses proudly in front of Megan, that is when she decided to unleash her inner wrestling spirit and tackle Campbell head-on with a spear off the board. The video was taken from Meyer’s Instagram, from a post that was dedicated to Campbell for his birthday.
