The 2020 NFL pre-season is scheduled to start in August. However, teams are still putting together their rosters as they gear up for a rather peculiar 2020 outing.
The Jets had a 7-9 record in the NFL last year. They will be hoping to improve on that display this year. Two players who stood out from an otherwise average Jets squad last season were running back Le’Veon Bell and safety Jamal Adams.
The latter is reportedly pushing for a move away from the Jets in the ongoing offseason. However, Bell believes Adams will remain in New York if his demands are met.

Jamal Adams is hot property in the NFL right now. The in-demand NFL safety is linked with a trade to San Francisco 49ers. However, Adams’ teammate, Le’Veon Bell, claims that the star is going nowhere this season.
While speaking in an interview with Peter Rosenberg on Hot 97 radio in New York, Bell said Adams will remain with the Jets if he gets what he wants.

“I think he wants to be [with the Jets], I just think he wants to get paid. I think he’s in the same situation I was three years ago. He’s a young player. He’s been at the top of the game, playing at a high level and feels like, ‘Dang, I just want to get compensated,” Bell said.

Adams is reportedly tired of his contract situation with the Jets. His current contract will only hold good for the coming two years.
The youngster’s salary cap hits the $7 million mark next season. Which will then be bumped up and could potentially hit $9.8 million in 2022. Jamal is angling for a long-term deal with the Jets this year.
“Me, personally, I hope he doesn’t get traded. But I don’t think he’ll get traded. I do think he’ll be playing with the Jets. That’s just me, personally, because I don’t think he’s going to get traded. Honestly, why would you trade him? I wouldn’t trade him,” Bell added.
