The Washington Post wrote an article about the owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys. The reporters covered Jerry Jones’ legacy, and it was there that the world came to know about a 65-year-old picture.

Jones was a part of the snap. The picture was a controversial one that brought a lot of scrutiny to the business tycoon. Not only did NBA star LeBron James question the GM, but a famous sports presenter blasted at the 80-year-old.

The Cowboys owner was a part of a monumental movement. North Little Rock High School had opened its door to six black students. However, white students surrounded them and barred them from entering the educational institution. Jones was a 14-year-old kid and “curious” by nature. Therefore, he went near the commotion to know what was happening.

Associated Press shot the picture in 1957 when Little Rock served as the center of civil rights movements. Soon after the picture was taken, the schools in Arkansas disintegrated.

Even though the billionaire explained he did not understand the severity of the situation back then, his explanation did not please Max Kellerman, sports media personality. He chastised the GM with his words and questioned the choices he made 65 years ago. Kellerman acknowledged that, although the picture was taken many years ago, “Jerry Jones stood with the bad guys on the wrong side of history.”

The four-time NBA MVP was a superfan of the Dallas Cowboys. However, after the controversy related to Jones, LeBron James started supporting the Cleveland Browns. Of course, it is not great to lose such an arduous fan. But James had his reservations about the owner of the franchise.

It did not please the NBA star that the matter was not as spoken about as it should have been. The Lakers hooper was not satisfied with the reporters who did not ask him about the contentious picture. “But it seems like to me that the whole Jerry Jones situation, the photo, and I know it was years and years ago, and we all make mistakes, I get it. It seems like it’s just been buried under, like, ‘Oh, it happened. OK. We just move on.’ And I was just kind of disappointed that I haven’t received that question from you guys.”
