On Twitter, Calvin Watkins, who covers the Cowboys for the Dallas Morning News, said, “After Jerry Jones told us this Sunday about a possible trade: ‘I don’t see that. You always, if it’s of the magnitude of getting Deion Sanders on this team, I’ll grab the phone.”

Currently, at 5-2, the Cowboys stand behind the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants in the NFC East. They will have to work on their defense and work as a unit if they hope to move up those rankings. Up next, they will face the Chicago Bears.
