The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ dreams of another Super Bowl visit went down courtesy of the Cowboys. Tom Brady lost his chance after what looked like a hard-fought performance from the team. The quarterback has become the subject of heavy debate. Amidst that, Jimmy Fallon made a savvy comparison of TB12 with billionaire tycoon Jeff Bezos.

The Wild Card round at Raymond James Stadium saw Tampa Bay take on Dallas. To Krewe’s surprise, the boys stood up as the dominant ones who kept the lead. After Tom Brady’s Super Bowl hopes were dashed, he became the subject of rumblings. Jimmy Fallon also boarded the ship and commented on the Buccaneers’ quarterback.

Jimmy Fallon Savage Mode: ON

During ‘The Tonight Show’, Jimmy Fallon addressed the latest happenings around the United States. The comedian spoke about the Cowboys’ triumph over the Buccaneers and made a clever Tom Brady-Jeff Bezos comparison. The host said, “After the game, Brady was thinking about retiring, but then he saw the price of eggs and was like, ‘I can’t retire now.’ — I don’t know what else Brady wants to accomplish, though. It’s kind of like Jeff Bezos playing Mega Millions. It’s like, you already have all the money.”

Fallon’s satire might be hilarious for several people. However, it may not be amusing for Tampa Bay fans. The Pewter Pirates had a tough time making their case for another Super Bowl trip. It is more of a ‘salt to the wound’ juncture for the Bucs.

Now that the Super Bowl hopes have gone down, will Tom Brady return with the Bucs? The QB1 left the answer up in the air.

Will Tom Brady be back for another season?

Since Tom Brady was competing in his final year with the Buccaneers, the question about his next move was always hot. Since the Bucs’ exit from the playoffs, the question has slung back like a boomerang. During the post-game media scrum, TB12 kept a firm statement and indirectly bid adieu. But it has fueled intense speculation.

Tom Brady said he would go back home and get as much peaceful sleep as possible. But he also said there would be no schedule for him to make up his mind. TB12 said, “This has been all I’ve focused on — this game. It’ll just be one day at a time. Truly.”

It is yet to see if Tom Terrific will make a grand return with the Bucs, join another franchise, or finally retire for good.
