

San Francisco 49ers lost to Los Angeles Rams in NFC Championship on Sunday. The match wasn’t different as it has been in this season’s NFL, and it was a thrilling one with a great comeback. The LA Rams handed over a heart-breaking loss to Jimmy Garoppolo and the Niners.

Late in the second quarter, the Niners were cruising towards a great victory, but Rams receiver Cooper Kupp had other plans. The final flourishes Kupp made towards the end of the game, led to the Rams’ victory over the Niners. Consequently, Niners Super Bowl run ended

Jimmy Garoppolo was struggling to hold back his emotions
The NFC Championship loss was heartbreaking for Garoppolo and the Niners, who had fought hard throughout the season to get there. Following the loss, Jimmy Garoppolo appeared in a press conference. After the loss, he was emotional and said it would take a couple of days to get used to it.

Garoppolo almost choked out while speaking to the press. Since emotions are usually high after a win or a loss; thus, Garoppolo was struggling to hold back his emotions. Garoppolo said, “People wrote us off. We kept fighting. That’s what good teams do, that’s what tight brothers do. I’ve got no regrets for this year.”

At one point in the league, the San Francisco 49ers were 3-5 down, and people weren‘t expecting them to make it to the playoffs. Garoppolo said that they pushed through and with a bit of luck in their fate they made it all the way to the NFC Championship.

In 2017, Jimmy Garoppolo was traded by New England Patriots to the Niners in exchange for the 2 round pick for the 2018 NFL Draft. Since then, he has been an asset to the team. The NFL-2021 season has been a roller-coaster ride for Niners quarterback. Garoppolo has made 3810 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
