Ian Rapoport said, “The only team right now who seems to want to be in the QB mix is the Carolina Panthers.” He also revealed that Garoppolo’s recovery period would affect his trade market.
Ian Rapoport believes if an injury happens to a quarterback of any team, then Jimmy G’s demand will increase. As a result, the San Francisco 49ers will have good leverage over it. The 49ers can also get some good assets in return for trading Garoppolo.

If the Carolina Panthers can bring in Jimmy Garoppolo from the San Francisco 49ers, it’ll be a move in the right direction. However, that doesn’t mean they’ll instantly become the best team in their division.
Jimmy G will go up against Tom Brady. The two former Patriots quarterbacks will line up against each other in the same division. Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in a far better situation than the Panthers.
