But Nathaniel Hackett, who is just four years his senior, doesn’t want to take part in his adventures.

Hackett and Rodgers have worked together for the Green Bay Packers in the past. The duo had become extremely close as Hackett brought the best out of the QB as his offensive coordinator during that stint. And it was a reunion with the OC that held a lot of value for Rodgers to choose the Jets as his next destination. But it looks like the quarterback is on his own as far as sight-seeing in the Big Apple is concerned.

Nathaniel Hackett won’t join Aaron Rodgers on his NYC adventures 

Nathaniel Hackett and Aaron Rodgers are great friends, and the Jets OC is happy to see his quarterback with a smile on his face. In a recent interview, Hackett revealed that the new Jets’ QB is enjoying the scenery in the city. And that, for Hackett, is very important to settle down in the new city.

“I think for him, he’s got a smile on his face. I mean, heck he’s been going to all these New York functions and enjoying the scene and everything, so I think that’s so important,” Hackett said on the ‘Official Jets Podcast’.

When pressed on if he will join his friend on the adventure, the Jets OC declined. He hasn’t gone on city adventures with Rodgers and doesn’t plan to do so in the future as well.

“No, he hasn’t. No no, he gets to go enjoy that,” Hackett added.

Rodgers has already hit the practice field for the Jets days after joining them. But it is the off-field bonding that will help him settle faster.

He also revealed that he had gone to catch a Broadway play in the city. The veteran quarterback also caught up with an NBA playoff game featuring the New York Knicks. So, he is everywhere.

While Rodgers finds his feet in the city and with the team, the fans would hope that the new chemistry works wonders during the football season. The MetLife Stadium hasn’t seen a championship parade for long and Rodgers has come in to change that. Will he and Nathaniel Hackett cook up something special for the New York crowd?
