Two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes is stealing the spotlight this week with a $210 million restructured deal. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and a father of two becomes one of the highest-paid players in the NFL with this four-year contract. 

Patrick Mahomes may not have executed his best on the field this season yet. But he led his team to victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars with two touchdown passes over 300 yards.

In an after-practice press conference, he opens up about his restructured deal and brings his family into the topic. The two-time Super Bowl champion has confirmed the $210 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. 

Patrick Mahomes is a visionary who is already making plans for the future of his kids. He states in the press conference, “I’m going to still make a lot of money and be set for life and my kids and everything like that. But hopefully, give us a chance to go out there and win football games as well.“

This deal is the highest pay for an NFL player over four years, from 2023 to 2026, with an annual salary of $52.6 million. Mahomes continued, “I mean, the money is the money. Like it’s awesome. It’s amazing. I know I can do a lot of great things not only for myself but for the people that have given me so much.“
