Mahomes has been one of the fastest rising stars in NFL history. And now, his Head Coach has a major update about his recovery after undergoing surgery.

Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach gave a press conference recently. He addressed Patrick Mahomes getting operated on after the Super Bowl to repair some ligament damage.

Despite being photographed with a walking boot, Reid had a positive update on the former MVP. He noted that Mahomes has been doing very well and is working hard on the road to recovery.

Reid also added how difficult the entire process of recovering can be, and how well Mahomes has handled the entire situation.

“Pat’s doing tremendous, getting great flexibility in that toe. He’s worked his tail off. Not a real fun thing to do with that, it seems like a small thing but that toe is rather large and stiff before the surgery and after the surgery. So he’s really worked hard at getting that right.” (h:t- PFT)
