Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes adds another feather to his list of achievements. Texas Tech decided to add their alumnus to the Ring of Honor and Hall of Fame club. This announcement was made on Saturday by the school’s athletic director Kirby Hocutt. Mahomes will be enshrined in the school’s elite club with special recognition as one of the best athletes to have represented the institute.

Although Mahomes began his career as a baseball fanatic, and was inclined towards basketball, the quarterback saw his real purpose after playing football. “When you look at the face of the NFL, that is Patrick Mahomes,” Hocutt said during the Hall of Fame announcement.
