The Kansas City Chiefs had one of their leading offseason blows after losing out on Tyreek Hill via trade. But Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas would have been the most upset. However, his worries may have washed away after Patrick Mahomes with his team delivered a spectacle in the season opener. After Kansas City’s monumental play, the mayor took a subtle dig over the current Dolphins WR.
The offseason buzz surrounded Tyreek Hill after he took off to Miami. The wideout did not settle in negotiations with the Chiefs, which led to the move. It looked like a sizable loss for the Grim Reaper, as Hill was the WR1. But after Kansas City showcased dominance in their season opener game, Mayor Lucas looks thrilled.

Mayor Quinton Lucas tweeted, “So, guys, what are we gonna do without Tyreek?” The tweet seems to be a subtle jab over the wide receiver. Indeed, he is a Chiefs’ Superfan and adored Hill when he ran for the Chiefs.

In fact, it perturbed Mayor Quinton when the Tyreek Hill trade came out in public over Twitter. He expressed his disappointment by tweeting, “I may get to okay. I’m not there yet. Maybe one day, but not there yet.” For Hill, the money became a turmoil among both parties, leading to him getting a trade.
After Cheetah took off, the Kansas City Chiefs left no tables unturned to address the receiver trouble. The franchise got in JuJu Smith Schuster and Marquez-Valdez Scantling during free agency. They also picked up rookie Skyy Moore out of Western Michigan. Safe to say, it was a solid win.
