Kendrick Bourne ‘Honored’ to Play with New England Patriots Quarterback Cam Newton

The Bill Belichick-led New England Patriots ended their 2020 NFL campaign on a sour note with a 7-9 record in the AFC East.
Cam Newton enjoyed a decent outing in his first year playing in Boston. But he did lack that ‘X-factor’ that saw him win the Super Bowl MVP title in 2015.
The former Carolina Panthers man threw for 2,657 passing yards with 8 passing TDs and 10 interceptions. In addition to that, Newton rushed for 592 yards with 12 rushing touchdowns.

But it was obvious that he lacked support in the offensive department as the Patriots missed out on making the NFL Playoffs in 2020.
But all that is about to change this season as coach Belichick and Patriots owner Robert Kraft have gone on a spending spree in the summer.
The Patriots have made 8 free-agent signings including the likes of TE Jonnu Smith, TE Hunter Henry, WR Nelson Agholor, and WR Kendrick Bourne.

Kendrick Bourne reportedly signed a 3-year deal with the New England Patriots worth $22.5 million. One of the first players to welcome Bourne to Boston was star quarterback Cam Newton.
“It was awesome talking to him. Told him I’ve been a fan for a long time…I’m just excited to play with him. Told him I’ve been watching him since I was a young guy. It’s an honor to play with you,” Bourne said via Michael Giardi on Twitter.
