Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was facing a lot of backlash on social media after becoming a subject of ridicule. The Packers QB was caught lying about an important detail regarding his COVID-19 vaccination status in November 2021. Following his rebuttals about the subject, the former Super Bowl champion was part of one of the most popular TV shows in the world.

Comedian, actor, and Kim Kardashian’s Boyfriend Pete Davidson portrayed the Packers QB on a Saturday Night Live weekly episode. Davidson passionately put on a show as the Packers’ superstars in the opening sketch.

He was not messing around while highlighting some of Rodgers’ comments about the vaccine. The comedian touched on various subjects, including Rodgers’ funny State Farm endorsements. He also brought up his claims that ‘he was more or less immunized’ of the past in the segment.

Davidson also referenced Rodgers and his 5th November appearance on the Pat McAfee Show. He stated, “It’s my body and my COVID, and you know I can give it to whoever I want, but suddenly the woke mob is coming after me…But at the end of the day, my record is still 7, and 1, meaning of the 8 people I infected, 7 are fine.

Despite his heroics, the Super Bowl title has eluded him for a decade, with his championship window closing. While his re-signing this offseason was a positive for the Packers fans, the franchise is in win-now mode.

The 2022 NFL campaign brings Rodgers another opportunity to capture a 2nd Super Bowl ring. With a greater involvement and say in running things, 2022 could be the magical year for Packers fans.
