Kirk Cousins tests positive for COVID-19

Last night, reliable NFL insider and journalist Tom Pelissero broke a piece of disappointing news for the Vikings fans. Pelissero revealed that star QB Kirk Cousins has tested positive for COVID-19 and won’t be available against the Packers.

“Sources: #Vikings QB Kirk Cousins is going on the Reserve/COVID-19 list,” tweeted the journalist. He further added “is out for Sunday night’s game against the #Packers,”

The loss of the unvaccinated Cousins at this crucial stage is a huge blow for the Vikings. Luckily for them, their backup quarterback is Sean Mannion. The backup QB had also tested positive a while ago, but fortunately, he was activated on Friday.
