This offseason is turning out to be pretty eventful and dramatic for the Arizona Cardinals and its star quarterback Kyler Murray. First, the young QB scrubs all the Cardinals-related posts from his Instagram profile and unfollows the franchise, both on Twitter and IG. Now his agent escalated the drama from passive to outright hostility.
Murray’s agent Erik Burkhardt recently released a statement that was laughable according to several analysts. That statement is a bit too straightforward. Burkhardt instead of solving any further skirmishes from happening makes a direct claim to the QB1 spot for Murray.

The statement also talks about the production rate and the effectiveness of the 24-year-old in the gridiron. Murray was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals as the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. And since then, his progress has been exponential. Arizona remains the first team in the league to register an improvement of three or more wins in the past three seasons.

He also helped the franchise with an 11-6 winning season before losing to the Los Angeles Rams in the wild card round.

The two-time Pro Bowler has been an integral part of the Arizona offense ever since his arrival and that is simply undeniable. However, many analysts would claim his “egotistical” and “immature” to be the reason for not getting an offer from the Cardinals.
