Just when the Arizona Cardinals thought everything was functioning as expected, they stumbled into unforeseen problems. It took aback numerous NFL players when DeAndre Hopkins got suspended till week-6. It also took the WR by surprise when he learned about it. Despite this, he had vigorous support from his colleagues, notably Kyler Murray.

During this year’s NFL draft, the Arizona Cardinals did an excellent job of meeting their needs and expectations. They got a promising young target in the first round, a pass-catching slot receiver in the second, and a pair of interesting edge rushers in the third. Most crucially, it appears that they now have a satisfied quarterback with whom they were facing issues during the offseason.

On Monday, the NFL hit DeAndre Hopkins with a suspension; a six-game ban for breaching the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy. Kyler Murray will be without his prime target during the first six matches of the 2022 campaign. It also surprised the standout WR, who left a lengthy statement, saying that he aims to understand the situation.

Murray then expresses his support on Twitter hours after the media publicly disclosed it. He says, “Hop’s character has never been in question… we got you family.”

A damaged MCL led to Hopkins’ season shortening up in his previous campaign. The Arizona Cardinals initially deemed the wide receiver to make his return in week 1. Now, he has to wait till the 7th game of the regular season. However, until the start of the 2022 regular season, the exceptional WR will be able to participate in the preseason matchups and workout drills with the club.
