It was truly a magical season for the NFL icon Odell Beckham Jr. He started the season alongside Baker Mayfield in the Cleveland Browns. Following a locker room controversy between them, OBJ switched sides and gets signed by the Los Angeles Rams mid-season.
The initial few weeks with his new franchise proved disastrous. The Rams lost three games back-to-back though having one of its kind players on the roster. However, the team started gaining momentum in the last month of the year and were right on time to reach the top spot in the NFC West conference. While the Browns failed to make the playoffs.

That was his first step to redemption. Since many believed him to be not capable of playing with the Browns. Yet he proved them wrong in his very first season without the likes of Mayfield. OBJ continued his journey through the playoffs and finally reached the most anticipated game of his career; the Super Bowl.
It was for the first time that Beckham ever won a playoff game. And he reached the first Super Bowl game of his career in his debut season with the Rams. After reaching the big game many somewhat expected that OBJ hype. Beckham flaunted his mesmerizing $200,000 diamond-studded shoes during his warmup and was on seventh heaven while playing against the Bengals.
Odell Beckham Jr was all hyped up for the Super Bowl
Beckham even made the first score during the game early in the first quarter. He leaped over cornerback Mike Hilton and caught a magnificent pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford for his first Super Bowl touchdown. That night was something special for the wideout. In a recent clip shared by NFL, the 29-year-old flaunted his crazy moment in front of his teammates.

“Literally when I was born the doctor was like, ‘Oh yeah, he’s supposed to play in the Super Bowl. He’s supposed to win it too.’ Right when I was born! No cap! He’s like ‘Oh -‘” Beckham hilariously joked with his teammates.

Although the wideout strained his knee later in the game, the Rams claimed the victory, but clearly, OBJ was the one who set the pace. It was a magical night for him and his team, but most importantly it was a season for him to cherish.
