Shaquille O’Neal was very disappointed in the NFL officiating crew. But most importantly, disappointed at seeing the Dallas Cowboys put an end to their season after a remarkable regular-season run. Shaq being a big Cowboys fan, was heartbroken to see the Cowboys lose to the San Francisco 49ers.
Dallas Cowboys after a great finish to the regular season, headed towards the Wild Card Round to face the Niners. However, they fell short of 20 yards and a few seconds to win a ticket to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. But a controversial and disappointing fate awaited Dallas in the end, as they were eliminated from the playoffs without having the chance of making the last snap.

Shaq on the Dallas Cowboys
It was surely not the end the Cowboys had hoped for. The NBA legend during the recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq; pointed fingers at the officiating crew for the loss. He was also clearly disappointed with the performance of the quarterback Dak Prescott, who had a slow start to the game.

The host Nischelle Turner pointed out the leniency shown by the Dallas coach Mike McCarthy during the game. “I was watching him during the game,” Turner said. “And this is what I saw. Arms folded just standing there. He doesn’t call plays.” Following this, Shaq quoted his former coach Phil Jackson and said, ‘you gotta get it done’ and went on to criticize the quarterback Dak Prescott instead.

Shaquille O’Neal vouching for Deion Sanders as the head coach of the Cowboys
However, moments later, Shaquille vouched for former Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl-winning player turned head coach Deion Sanders for the coaching job at Dallas.
