Ever since Kyler Murray agreed to extend his contract with the Arizona Cardinals, the NFL world has been busy speculating figures for Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. It happens so that the QB, who is entering his last season of the rookie contract, hasn’t finalized a deal. Recently, Jackson shared a picture of himself in a Ravens jersey and reiterated that he wants to stay with the franchise.

For the past few days, Lamar Jackson has been playing games on social media. It seems his patience has started bearing fruit for the signal-caller to work on an agreement with the front office.

This offseason, his Cardinals’ counterpart Kyler Murray signed a five-year $230.5 million contract which gives him the leverage to bargain more and set this as a base value to start with the negotiations.

Even though Jackson is not supported by any agents to represent him in the trade talks, the quarterback is expected to make a lot of money.

While there is no clarity on what Jackson is actually looking for, the Louisville product recently quashed the rumors of him going after a humongous deal of $250 million. However, in the current scenario, it won’t be a surprise if he signs a deal of that magnitude.

Interestingly, a few months ago, ahead of the training camps, he refused to talk about the matter. He claimed that he wants to stay focused on the game until he wins the Super Bowl title. But looking at the recent developments, things seem to have changed now.
