The Ravens QB, Lamar Jackson, has been in the NFL for four years and has quite a few accomplishments. Despite all the attention the young athlete continues to receive, fans know him as a humble individual. As a football player, Jackson probably has some interactions with fans often.

A video of Jackson is currently doing the rounds of Twitter, where his sweet gesture made people sit up and take note of Lamar as a person.

Jackson’s sweet message for his fan

In the tweet, Lamar was seen with a lady recording a short video message for someone. He said, “What’s going on? Man, I wish you a speedy recovery.” 

On a lighthearted note, he said that both he and the lady were chilling at the place. Jackson’s gesture brought on a wave of appreciation from fans. Many commented on his humility and kind nature. They further referred to him as one of the best things to have happened.

A new contract for Lamar Jackson

Jackson has predominantly been in the news this year because of his contract situation. The QB is in the final year of his rookie contract and has been in the process of negotiating a new one. Being without an agent, Jackson is part of all the talks himself.

He is an exceptionally good playmaker. He and the Ravens are keen on continuing the relationship for the foreseeable future.

Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti had earlier called Jackson a ‘unique cat’ and that he was well-loved at the Ravens. Jackson, for his part, did not skip the mandatory minicamp just because of his contract situation, which was not resolved then. He also said that he would attend pre-season training as usual.
