NFL reporter Dov Kleiman brought to attention what fans have been pondering for hours. Kleiman reported the Bills’ statement which said that Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during the game. His tweet said, “Update from the #Bills – Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during the game. His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He’s currently sedated and listed in ‘critical condition.’” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell also stated that the safety was in critical condition before the Bills’ statement was released.
