When discussing Travis Kelce’s status among tight ends, Greg Olsen, a highly accomplished three-time Pro Bowler and the creator of Tight End University expressed his opinion firmly. Olsen confidently stated to Mackenzie Salmon of USA TODAY Sports on an episode of Sports Seriously that Kelce unquestionably belongs on the “Mount Rushmore” of tight ends.

Interestingly, in a recent interview on the podcast ‘Bussin’ With The Boys,’ Kelce exhibited signs of personal growth or perhaps a fear of disappointing his fans. He mentioned that he no longer considers himself deserving of being included on his own personal “Mount Rushmore.” This shows a shift in his mindset and indicates a growing sense of humility.

Travis Kelce, the Chiefs TE, showed signs of maturity and a desire to please his fans. In a podcast ‘Bussin’ With The Boys,’ Kelce admitted that he no longer considers himself worthy of being among the best. When discussing the top quarterback-tight end duos of all time, including himself and Patrick Mahomes, Kelce acknowledged his previous mistake of including himself, which led to criticism.

He said, See I already made this mistake included myself on my own mount rushmore, got kind of chopped down. So I got to get out of there, I am going to take myself out of it.” However, Kelce did provide an answer to the question by mentioning another incredible duo. He ranked “Gronk and Tom Brady, two of the best to do it,” as the number one combination, recognizing their exceptional talent and success.
