During a recent interview with Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Irvin let loose on the dismal state of the Cowboys roster.

He believes that the franchise has let many talented players walk away in Amari Cooper, La’el Collins, Randy Gregory, Connor Williams, and Cedrick Wilson. Irvin states, “They have lost talent. They are not a better team talent-wise. This game doesn’t require skill. It requires will. If a team loses a little bit of skill but gains greater will, they call still do great things.” But the opposite rings true for the Cowboys and Irvin views the current roster as a step down from last season.
