Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver DK Metcalf complimented Lamar Jackson. He was left in awe of the Ravens’ QB’s physique. DK said, “Damn cuh let me borrow a bicep.” DK Metcalf himself is one of the most muscular players in the NFL.

If DK Metcalf is impressed by someone’s physique, it means the person has put a lot of work into it. Lamar’s playstyle is very different from others. He is a quarterback but runs the ball better than most of the running backs in the league.

As a result, his physical development was quite necessary for his longevity. Lamar Jackson gets hit by opposing defenders a lot, and that isn’t good for any quarterback. As he has gained more muscle mass, he might be able to absorb those hits better than he could earlier.

Lamar Jackson is happy with his new physique

Lamar Jackson started lifting weights in the offseason. He gained around 15 pounds of muscle mass. Earlier in the season, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback was around 205-208 lbs, but now he is touching the 220 lb mark.

He spoke about his transformation. Lamar Jackson said, “I just wanted to do it. See how I look, see how I feel, and I feel good.” Hopefully, Jackson’s good transformation will heap him rewards on the field as well during the season.
