Riley reserved special praise for CeeDee Lamb and Kyler Murray. The Oklahoma head coach reckons his two former stars are in line to record a stellar season this year. 22-year old Kyler Murray will be key for the Arizona Cardinals this season as they aim to do well in the NFC West division. Not many know this fact, but Murray served as back-up to Browns QB Baker Mayfield while playing under Lincoln Riley at Oklahoma. Kyler Murray bagged the NFL 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year award and will look to build on that performance in the coming months. Kyler Murray also won the Heisman trophy in 2018. He had four rushing TDs over the course of the 2019 season and will look to add to that tally in NFL 2020. Murray is the only athlete to be picked up in the first round of the NFL and MLB draft process. However, he chose to continue on his NFL journey and joined the Cardinals the following year.

Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb was a first-round draft pick (17th overall) at the NFL 2020 draft. He starred for Oklahoma Sooners last year which earned him the big-money move to the Cowboys. Without a doubt, he arrived in Dallas with great expectations. Riley added that Lamb’s athletic built and lightning pace makes him an asset for Dak Prescott-led Cowboys. If Lamb and Prescott develop a strong bond then the Cowboys could be strong contenders in the NFC East division. CeeDee Lamb wants to be an NFL Hall of Famer. Will he start that journey with the Cowboys or will it be a disaster of epic proportions?
