Chris Gronkowski recalls his training days

Chris Gronkowski, one of the five brothers of retired NFL star Rob Gronkowski, has shared his thoughts from his training days. The former player of the Cowboys, Colts, and Broncos, took to Instagram to share his thoughts. He posted a video on 4th August, where he shared his thoughts on the topic “The hardest part of NFL Training Camp?”

Chris added, “The hardest part about the training camp by far was this. Before practice, there was something called Pre-practice. Now, as a rookie, you are attending every pre-practice and during pre-practice, it was all special teams. And during these pre-practice drills, you were doing full-speed kickoff coverages full speed. Kickoff returns and there was little to no break because they were trying to get as many in as possible. There were times when I wanted to throw up during pre-practice. Oh yeah. And then you stretched and you go to go through full practice after that.

NFL pre-practice drills are tough

NFL pre-practice drills include dynamic stretches, cone agility drills, high knees, butt kicks, shuttle runs, jumping exercises, pass-catching practice, precise route running, hand-offs, tackling, blocking, and position-specific drills. These exercises prepare players physically and mentally, enhancing their skills and game performance during practice sessions. No wonder, NFL players like Chris are so strong.

The fitness freak among the Gronk bros is still attached to his fitness hobbies, even after his retirement. He is currently working on his fitness bottle venture called ‘Ice Shaker’, for which he was even at Shark Tank show with his brothers. He is indeed an ideal candidate to advise rookies.
