The 2023 Kentucky Derby was more than just a horse race. For Green Bay Packers fans, it was a reunion of sorts. Although Rodgers has moved on to the New York Jets, ending his legendary stint at the Packers, his heart definitely lies with his team and teammates. And at the Derby, he made sure he got his Crew back together. 

Aaron Rodgers, along with his teammates David Bakhtiari, Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, AJ Hawk, Matt Flynn, and Jimmy Graham, were seen at the event. Rodgers, who is a regular at the Kentucky Derby, shared a photo of the group, but more than anything else, Rodger’s new look took fans by surprise.

For a while now, Rodgers has been under scrutiny from fans and analysts alike about his age. At 39 years of age, many have wondered how much longer he can continue to perform at a high level on the field. But in his latest post, he had a surprise for all his fans and critics. With his new hairstyle and lean look, fans in the comments couldn’t help but notice the younger-looking Rodgers. 

One fan in the comments couldn’t believe the drastic change in Rodgers’ appearance, “That man arod look like he 25 again 😭”.

Another fan had a similar reaction as he complimented his change in appearance, “When did you start looking like you are 27 again?? Looking good 🤟🏻”.

But one fan had a different theory about the drastically new look adopted by Rodgers, “nah he always look younger in the off szn just scroll up in his page 😭”.

This fan was definitely impressed by the suited-up crew reunion at the Derby, “Dapper dudes”.

But one of Rodgers’ superfans appeared in the comments levying some high praise for the QB, “Aaron Rodgers is the most talented quarterback of all time.”

It would seem that Rodgers has definitely worked his charm to gain back the trust and support of many fans who thought that the QB had finally been traced down by father time. How Rodgers’ performance on the field looks like however, is an entirely different story.

Although Aaron Rodgers has been doubted throughout his career, he has been there to silence his critics more often than not. But he still faces perhaps his toughest challenge, and his largest critique yet, The Time. We saw Rodgers’ counterpart, Tom Brady, defy time for years on end, but even the great Brady had to succumb to the inevitability of time. 

So does Rodgers have one last hurrah in him? He certainly looks the part, but does he have the capability to play the part? He’s silenced many critics for now, as he seems to have transformed himself into Captain Rodgers with his younger and leaner physique. But the jury is still out on his capability to defy the odds and lead the Jets to a Super Bowl.
