However, in 2016, OBJ was spotted leaving a party together with Zendaya Coleman. Coleman is currently dating her Spiderman co-star, British actor Tom Holland.

While a relationship like this would send people into a frenzy, a member of Zendaya’s family quickly refuted the dating rumors. Her father, Kazembe Coleman, spoke to TMZ and clarified the rumors surrounding his daughter. According to him, he was present with OBJ and Zendaya at the party they left together.

Zendaya’s Dad approved of OBJ!

What comes as a bigger surprise is that despite denying the dating rumours, Zendaya’s dad was actually in approval of the football star. He claimed the time he hung out with Zendaya and her rumored boyfriend was an ‘audition’ and that he passed with flying colours. He even told TMZ that OBJ was the perfect gentleman, and sent a positive message to the WR’s parents as well. Kazembe Coleman became an overnight sensation for chaperoning his daughter and her date.

Zendaya and OBJ have sky-rocketed in their respective fields. A Disney star, Emmy award-winning actress and a successful singing career, Zendaya has done it all. As for OBJ, just re-watch his insane run for the LA Rams that led them to the Super Bowl.

No one except OBJ knows his future. While residents of LA would love to have him stick around, there’s no doubting that several franchises are circling him like sharks. Will we continue seeing OBJ tear it up alongside Stafford and Cooper Kupp, or will we see him take his talents to Dallas, make his dream come true by working with Belichick, or create an unstoppable force by joining the GOAT’s WR corps in Tampa Bay.
