Colin Kaepernick has been out of the NFL since 2017. The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has made multiple efforts to return to the league, but unsuccessfully. However, things might change pretty quickly for him now, as the Las Vegas Raiders recently invited him for a workout.
The Raiders are looking for another quarterback to be the backup of Derek Carr. This could be a very good opportunity for Kapernick, as he could fill that role pretty well for them.

According to reports, Colin’s workout with the Raiders went quite well. There is a high possibility, that the Raiders can sign him, and it would be a very nice acquisition by them. Moreover, many people worldwide will show their utmost respect for the franchise if they bring Kap.

Despite all that, the Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels has refused to speak anything about Colin yet.
He said, “Just by standard procedure, we will only talk about the people that are on our team,” He added, “General manager Dave Ziegler and his staff have worked out tons of guys this spring, and we really don’t make comments about the evaluations that we’ve made; or what they look like, what they didn’t look like.”

Josh McDaniels has stated that the franchise is continuously looking to make the team better. They are looking for a solid backup quarterback after Marcus Mariotta has left for the Falcons. Moreover, he was very clear about his stance toward Kaepernick.
