Micah Parsons steals the show

The Chicago Bears were hoping to soften the Cowboys’ lead in the third quarter. Bears running back David Montgomery fumbled a catch during the third quarter. Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons wasted no time and fell on the ball. Assuming that he was taken down, Parsons got up to celebrate but moved towards the end zone when his teammates signaled for him to run. Parsons would’ve been taken down if it wasn’t for Bears quarterback Justin Fields leaping over him.

ESPN Reporter Ed Werder tweeted Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy’s take on Parsons’ performance. “Obviously very excited,” he said, “But part of me is annoyed because he wants to be on offense already. Now, I’m going to have a hard time keeping him out of my office. His ball security is awful, so he still needs to focus on defense.”
