Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans recently welcomed a new member home into their family. On Wednesday, Evans and his wife Ashli Evans became proud parents of their daughter Aliyah Nicole. Nicole will be Evans’ second child with his wife. The happy pair were the recipient of a lot of congratulatory messages from the Buccaneers fans on social media.

The news was put on social media by Tampa Bay Times reporter Greg Auman with pictures of Evans holding the baby. The first images of the newborn member were put up on Ashli’s private Instagram account.

It’s one of the rare special moments for the Buccaneers wideout and brings more responsibility upon him.

As a Buccaneer, Evans was able to deal with the responsibility on the football pitch with his consistency. Since entering the NFL in 2014, he is the only player in league history to record 7 consecutive 1,000 yards seasons. His efforts led to praise from key members within the Buccaneers roster like QB Tom Brady.
