The Kansas City Chiefs had a hard-fought battle to reach and make their way to Super Bowl LVII. Patrick Mahomes and company gave them all the chance to make another appearance with the determination to sweep it all. They already had issues with the quarterback’s ankle and now have a new situation to face.

Are Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs dealing with a Curse?

Sources claim several Kansas City Chiefs players are under the weather just days before the Super Bowl. Chris Jones stated that he and many teammates are unwell and suffering from congestion, hoarseness, or other cold and flu symptoms. According to the reports, Patrick Mahomes may also be ill.

The football fans and the Chiefs Kingdom are unsettled. But some of them have figured out that the Drake curse might be the root of the problem.

Cisco Adler claimed the Drake Curse has impacted.

Another user made the same claim.

This user also said the curse is real.

Another user said the sickness is the Drake curse’s symptoms.

Moreover, this user called the curse The Drake Effect.

This user said Drake might pull out from the bet.

A user said Drake is in the mud again.

To give some context, rapper Drake took to Instagram and shared his placed bets for Super Bowl Sunday. He kept an absurdly high betting amount [$700,000] on the Chiefs to win the game. Several other teams have faced the effects of it in the past, and the Kansas City Chiefs are probably dealing with it now.

Kansas City Chiefs could have more bad luck incoming

It appears that the Chiefs Kingdom did not take Travis Kelce’s advice. They recently added the color red to Philadelphia’s iconic Rocky statue. The New Heights Podcast shared photos of the nine-foot statue dressed in a Kansas City Chiefs jersey with the number 87.

The Chiefs’ fan base may have gone too far with their move. When the Niners faithful tried it, it did not go well. However, there is a possibility that it was an inside job. The Chiefs appear to be on shaky ground, omen-wise.

Will the bad omens break as the Super Bowl approaches? Or will it continue to afflict the teams? It is open to scrutiny.
