Russell Wilson has found a dreamer of a life partner in Ciara. The Denver Broncos QB and the rockstar have a mentality that nothing is impossible. And they both get it from their parents. In a 2022 interview promoting a book for children, the couple revealed the kind of encouragement they got at home while growing up.

“This book is everything to us. My used to always say ,’why not you?’ I know Ciara’s parents too, my mom..,” Wilson told Jimmy Kimmel during the interview.

“Well, his dad used to literally say why not you. And for me, it was more like the energy of why not you being able to do whatever you wanna do and dream of,” the singer pointed out a tiny difference in approach.

And the approach has worked wonders in their lives. While Wilson has won the Super Bowl title during his time with the Seattle Seahawks, Ciara has lifted the Grammy. They have taken the ‘why not you’ message to their hearts and the NFL QB would want to answer his critics again in the same way next season.

Russell Wilson needs to hear his father’s words again. He did not have a good first season in Denver and a lot of people are questioning his performance. The Broncos could win just five games last season, finishing dead last in the AFC West. But who will get the franchise out of these dark times?
