Rob Gronkowski goes down as one of the NFL’s most legendary athletes. His on-field connection with Tom Brady is nothing short of magnificent. Gronk is no stranger to rivalries, and he spikes out every defensive player on the field. However, in 2015, he faced off against ski racer Lindsey Vonn, who talks about competing against Rob.

Rob Gronkowski kept his NFL destiny an enigma after his contract was nearing expiration. Despite showcasing interest in a couple of NFL teams, TE Gronk announces his retirement from the turf. It was the second time he did so, as he came out of it after Tom Brady insisted on coming with him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As a guest on Conan O’Brien’s late-night program, Lindsey Vonn brought up the ESPYs. They nominated her and Rob Gronkowski for Best Comeback Athletes, alongside Alex Rodriguez and Derrick Rose. Vonn disclosed she rehabbed alongside Gronk, who was attempting to recoup from his ACL tear that fizzled his 2013 season.

The alpine ski racer herself had a devastating knee injury. Moreover, Vonn claimed that it did not take too long for things to become increasingly competitive.

“He’s kind of cool. He’s just a pretty good athlete, so I’m a little nervous about the category. But you know, I think my injury was a lot worse, so technically I should win,” said Lindsey Vonn.

The Alpine Ski Racer also displayed her competitive aspect by telling Conan that Gronk should not be the frontrunner to win the ESPY. Both athletes appear to dislike losing.

Lindsey Vonn denies a date with Rob Gronkowski

In 2018, Lindsey Vonn was single and not dating anyone. Moreover, she had just won the bronze medal at the Winter Olympics. At that moment, Access Live came in to save the day for her. Hosts Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover attempted to become cupid by presenting her with a few single men they considered might be an excellent fit for her.

They mentioned actors like Brad Pitt, Chris Pratt, Michael B. Jordan, and Jon Hamm. Vonn appeared to approve of everything. But then, the hosts brought up Rob Gronkowski. Vonn remarks about the former NFL tight end, “I love Gronk, but that is never going to happen.” Gronk should not be so hard on himself. She rejected Drake as well. Although she was much nicer about it. But Gronkowski is off the Olympic ski racers’ dating list.
